Presidents, Rides, and Fireworks, Oh My!

Yesterday we spent the whole day at Magic Kingdom, and had an awesome time. KJ went on Big Thunder Mountain for the first time (and liked it!), and we all enjoyed some Dole whips (delicioso!) and the rest of the rides and attractions in the park.

Speaking of, we decided to check out The Hall of Presidents since we didn't do that the last time we were here. Poor Hall of Presidents- so neglected by park goers. Everyone said it was a good place for a nap, but we actually found it interesting. The best part was at the end where they introduce all the presidents, and their animatronic selves nod. Pretty cool.

We also got to see part of the new Fantasyland being built. It'll have some new rides and smaller versions of princess castles. It's scheduled to open in the fall of 2012, so we'll just have to go back!

Along with new restaurants and stores, some of the new rides and attractions include:

The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
Dumbo Dumbo
Storybook Circus
Voyage of the Little Mermaid
Great Goofini Roller coaster

Princess Fairytale Hall
Belle's CottagePixie Hollow

Sounds fun!

We ended the night by watching their fireworks show Wishes! (still cool), and then we fought the crowds to get home.

Today we're off to Animal Kingdom and Epcot. Wish us luck!
