Pilgrim Party?

This weekend we're off on another adventure. This time to Cleveland. We might even have another tagalong! Saturday night we'll be attending an anniversary party, but Friday night we're invited to a pilgrim party. Yes, as in pilgrims. From the Mayflower. Sounds like a happenin' time to us!

Thanks Cleveland, now on to the Falls!

After a great time with our amazing friends (and only a few "incidents") we're ready to head to Niagara Falls today. Just to recap a few moments of our time here in Cleveland....

  • M tackling the Melt challenge
  • St. Patty's breakfast at Merry Arts, and then ending the night there later
  • Drinking beers downtown while waiting for the parade
  • Standing in a coffee shop for 45 minutes waiting to use the bathroom, and observing a girl puking in the middle of the store
  • The incident at Douche Bag Velvet Dog
  • Hanging out at Harbor Inn and seeing "John Gosslin"
  • Returning to Merry Arts- our favorite Lakewood bar

Now it's off to breakfast and then we're headed out. Thanks again friends!

Fail Box

M put in a valiant effort, but unfortunately the Melt challenge beat him. Two plates and 3.5 pounds of cheese, fries, and slaw later....You'll get it next time M!

Hangin' Out

Waiting for Melt...

Arrived in Cleveland!

We finally arrived in Cleveland (Lakewood) at J and K's house, and are now enjoying a couple of beers before heading out. Tula (their dog) and MJ (their cat) highly enjoyed the treats we brought them, and I'm sure we'll all be enjoying the libations we gifted J and K later.

Cleveland, here we come!

Off to Cleveland today to start our adventure! Cleveland rocks!

Getting ready to go

Tomorrow we leave for our big East Coast adventure. Originally we were planning a trip to Europe, but ticket prices are so high now that we decided that a US road trip would have to satisfy our travel bug for right now. It's a good thing that US road trips have been on my bucket list for a while now. [We've also planned a West Coast trip (hopefully to be made later this year).]

First up is Cleveland to visit friends and celebrate St. Patrick's Day Ohio style!
