Today we visited the Indianapolis Zoo (now that we're members we're trying to get our money's worth!), and got a sneak peek at the new cheetah exhibit. The exhibit officially opens this Saturday, but hey, now that we're special we get to see it first!
The exhibit is pretty cool, and also includes box eared foxes and a few types of birds. Since, it was sweltering today, the cheetahs were relaxing in the shade. Other than that it was a pretty good visit to the Zoo. People still can't read signs (mostly mom's with strollers), but not everyone can be smart. Right? ;)
Happy adventuring!

Adventures in Food: Doritos
While shopping at the grocery store the other day, we came across Mr. Dragon's Fire chips flavored Doritos. Obviously curious, we purchased the bag and were pleasantly surprised. The wasabi flavored chips (with a hint of soy sauce) are pretty good. So go ahead, have your own food adventure!

Adventures in TV: LOST
One of our favorite TV shows is LOST. We've watched it from the very beginning, and this Sunday we'll say goodbye to it. It allowed as to have all sorts of adventures - adventures to the island, adventures to Hawaii, adventures with characters and others with the actors, adventures with friends (we had tons of LOST parties while living in Chicago), adventures in imagination.
Thanks for the great show and the great adventures!

Peace, Love & Pie
Our apologies to our faithful readers for not updating lately. We've had quite the busy time, and have been reconfiguring a few things. So without further ado, we present our latest adventure.
We'd noticed that new restaurant had sprung up- Grand Traverse Pie Co.- and since we're big fans of pie, we decided to stop in. Not only do they have tons of pies (upwards of 25 different kinds!), but they also serve lunch. So after scoping out the pie selection we enjoyed a nice lunch with our fellow restaurant goers (mostly retirees, which Chunk could not get over! They must love their pie!).
After lunch we couldn't leave without pie, so we got a mini apple pie and a regular sized Lakeshore Berry Crumb Pie. Delish!
Happy culinary adventuring!
