So to start off our Guy Fieri Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives adventures, we made our first stop Jersey's Cafe in Carmel, IN. Check out the episode here.
We were pretty pumped as the episode had made us hungry for loaded potatoes and sandwiches! We started off with the fresh made loaded potatoes (obviously!). Side note: They make almost everything from scratch- even the bread! Yum! KJ had the Cuban sandwich and Chunk had the bacon cheese steak.
We ate so much, but didn't have that gross after eating feeling you sometimes get from overeating processed foods. Highly recommend! We can't wait for our next stop! Happy adventuring!

Hello readers! Our apologies for not updating in a while. Our adventures have been put to the side for a while because we've been busy with organizing businesses/jobs/lives etc! However, our newest pursuit for 2013 will be food related. Who can't relate to food? We're planning on visiting all of the places that Guy Fieri has in Indiana for his show Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.
So where do you think we should start? We're thinking of hitting up XXX Family Restaurant in West Lafayette this weekend. Burgers anyone?

Adventures in TV: Kid In a Candy Store
Chunk's dreams have come true! Food Network has come up with a new show called Kid In a Candy Store, a show that follows Adam Gertler across the country as he tastes sweets and treats. It's pretty entertaining and definitely plays to those with a sweet tooth (Chunk for sure!). You could definitely have an adventure by visiting the places that Gertler goes to, or by having your own sweet adventure in your city.
Happy adventuring!

Adventures in TV: Cupcake Wars

Summer is upon us and that means new summer programming on TV. While scouring the networks to find something decent, we came across a new show on Food Network called Cupcake Wars. Similar to Chopped, this show pits four cupcake aficionados against one another in order to win $10,000 and have their cupcakes featured at some sort of celebrity event (thus far it's been George Lopez's charity golf tournament and Sumar the whale's 12th birthday at Sea World).
With brutal judges, wacky contestants, and an array of sugary sweets how can you go wrong? Check it out and see for yourself.
Happy adventuring!
